The non-profit organizations listed on the Qualified Non-Profit Organizations page have agreed to be partners in your education. Time to review their information and learn what they do and who they serve in the community as part of your research.
HELP US GROW THE LIST
The list of Qualified Non-Profit Organizations is NOT complete and will continue to grow as new agencies are opening to support their community. If there is a non-profit organization you would like to consider for a grant currently not listed as a Qualified Non-Profit Organization, please invite them to register on our site. CLICK HERE for a short letter you can copy/paste and send to the agency rep.) Remember! to be eligible for a grant from your group the agency MUST be listed on the Qualified Non-Profit Organization page prior to receiving an invitation from you to complete a Grant Application.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE REGISTRATION FORM AND A GRANT APPLICATION? WHY DO THEY NEED TO DO THIS?
The Registration Form is a document we use to collect general information from the Non-Profit Organization (NPO). Also, this document gives us the 501c3 Number, which is the number issued to the organization from the government used to confirm their Tax Exempt and Non-Profit status. Magnified Giving’s staff will use the 501c3 number given to verify through the Ohio Attorney General website the organization is registered as a legitimate NPO on your behalf. This is our way of protecting your grant dollars!
The Grant Application comes a few steps later in the process. This request is sent to the NPO when you are truly interested in digging deeper into their organization, mission, how many are they serving on a daily/monthly basis, financial status and WHAT WOULD THEY DO WITH YOUR GRANT? When you are ready to learn more about the NPO feel free to invite them to submit a Grant Application by sending them a Grant Application Invitation Letter.
Please Note: It is important to visit the Qualified Non-Profit Organizations page to see if they are already registered with Magnified Giving. If you see their organization, they do not need to register again. In addition, if you see the word APP next to their name, that means you do not need to ask them to complete a Grant Application either. During the school year they may be asked by more than one school to apply and the application will last a full year.
