| What is the mission of your organization? | “Dignity is the beginning of hope.” We are an oasis of hospitality providing a safe and pleasant place for persons in need to shower, shave, brush their teeth, use a toilet, have clothes laundered, have use of a phone, and a place to receive messages and mail. |

| Any comments about your selections you would like to share with the student philanthropists? | The people we serve depend on us for their shower, access to toilets, clean clothing, and much more, on a daily basis. Those things each of us take for granted each day, but are such basic human needs. Without exception, our guests leave Mary Magdalen House feeling better, with some dignity restored. |
