Magnified Giving Receives $1,000,000 Donation and Endowment
to Establish and Maintain Office Space
Facility Will Provide First Dedicated Offices for Organization as It Plans for Future Growth
Magnified Giving, whose mission is to teach and inspire student philanthropy, announced today that it received a $1,000,000 donation and endowment that will allow it to establish a permanent office location. The generous gift, to be received over the next 10 years, was donated by Joyce Kupfer-Mulderig in honor of her parents John A. and Jean M. Kupfer.
The gift provides Magnified Giving the means to purchase an office building that has been identified in Evendale. Additionally, the donor has committed to annual gifts over ten years to establish an endowment that will provide for upkeep of the building for years to come. As intended by the donor, the initial donation and endowment will ensure that Magnified Giving can focus other donors’ gifts on its mission to inspire and enable student philanthropy.
“We are deeply grateful for this gift from Joyce, and what it means for our mission,” stated Roger Grein, Founder and President of Magnified Giving. “Each year, we’ve continued to expand the number of students who are part of our program, as they learn how to be philanthropists. Our mission is to educate, inspire and engage students in philanthropy, and this generous gift provides the means to expand our reach and touch more lives.”
“This gift is transformational for Magnified Giving as we look to the future and plan to grow,” stated Kelly Collison, Executive Director at Magnified Giving. “This year, we’re working with more than 60 schools in the region, but our plans include growth across the tri-state and beyond as resources allow. We want to reach thousands of students in hundreds of schools with our proven, life-changing model of student philanthropy. Importantly, this amazing gift allows us to focus other donations on the students, knowing that our facility has been provided for.”
The building that will be purchased with the donation provides dedicated space for Magnified Giving’s current operational needs and plenty of room for future growth. Continuing needs for the organization’s growth include office furniture, equipment and computers, as well as financial and in-kind contributions for program implementation and expansion. Those interested in supporting Magnified Giving, sponsoring a school program or providing any resources for operational support are asked to contact Kelly Collison at 513-6546-9727 or Kelly@magnfiedgiving.org.
