| What is the mission of your organization? | |
| Our mission is to motivate and mobilize the church to care for the orphans and vulnerable children in their distress. We encourage the church to care for these special children as part of its mission program. This includes the children within U.S. foster care, the orphans of the world, and vulnerable children suffering from hunger, thirst, and neglect. We believe Jesus Christ is the hope that orphans and vulnerable children need. Until He comes back, the church remains as His emissary here on earth. Because of that, we endeavor to help the church carry the banner of His glorious hope. Our strategy works locally and globally through four bridges of care – adoption, foster care, orphan care, and humanitarian relief. The goals of these bridges of care are to Care for orphans and vulnerable children, engage the body of Christ in ministry, and reach out to the community who are drawn to the needs of orphans and vulnerable children. Volunteers produce the Hope BoxesTM and each box contains critically needed Food, Water, and Life packs. Hands Against HungerTM food packs are a high protein food product prepared by volunteers. Each food pack has 21 essential vitamins and minerals, 6 dried vegetables, highly fortified soy protein, and rice. When prepared in boiling water, each pack can feed 6 small children. Hope Water PacksTM produces clean drinking water from available water sources. Hope Life PacksTM provides stories of hope and encouragement. |

| Any comments about your selections you would like to share with the student philanthropists? | We have seen lives changed for the Kingdom now and for eternity. We are feeding over 15,000 children per day. Nearly 150, 000 volunteers have participated in Hope FactoryTM events. Nearly 45 million High Protein Food meals have been produced for orphans and vulnerable children. Nearly 7 million gallons of clean drinking water have been supplied in Hope Boxes.TM Over 150 children have been adopted from international orphanages or cared for by Christian foster care homes. |
