What is the mission of your organization?
The We Care so We’re There Center will provide a hands on holistic approach to individuals and families. Services provided include yet are not limited to the following four divisions.1.) Food insecurity. Helping Hands Food Pantry is an emergency food and assistance program. We work closely with other agencies that are supporting woman and families that are transitioning from homelessness. We provide essentials to get them started on their new path. We also provide emergency assistance to the community and provide male and female hygiene bags.

2.) Springhaven concentrates on education and awareness of the global epidemic of Human Trafficking. Our goal is to bring awareness of the problem, the signs of trafficking and equipping society with the tools and the knowledge to help stop this atrocity.
Springhaven also provides direct services to victims of trafficking on a case by case basis. We also serve as survivors advocate in the court system or mental health system.

Our future programs hope to be:

3.) Project 25:36 is a comprehensive, trauma informed care model that starts 24 months before an inmate is due to be released from prison. This program will get to the root of the true problem of why the inmate engaged in dangerous behaviors that put him/her in prison in the first place.

This program also involves the family members and allows healing on all fronts that will enable the inmate a greater chance to experience higher success upon reentering society.

4.) Youth Sport program is for at risk youth. Many children cannot afford to participate in pay-to-play programs in communities that have adopted this way of funding sports programs.

This program will allow those children to participate in sport and benefit from the mentorship that includes life skills and team building that increase self-esteem and enable opportunities for greater success in life.

We Care So Were There Center will provide aid to our community by offering assistance to anyone regardless of economic circumstances, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, or religious affiliation.
