RefugeeConnect’s vision is a vibrant, inclusive, safe, and diverse community.

Programmatic examples:
RefugeeConnect’s School Impact Program is embedded in local schools within Boone and Hamilton County working with students and their parents to ensure a welcoming and supportive environment for learning and acculturation.

RefugeeConnect engages refugee community leaders in a family support position called Community Navigators. Navigators remotely reach out to families that speak their languages to offer support and connection to resources. They share information about COVID-19, food resources, support with remote learning, and more.

RefugeeConnect leads the Refugee Empowerment Initiative Quarterly Forums for nonprofits that work with the refugee community to share best practices and build collaboration.
