Interfaith Hospitality Network of Greater Cincinnati's (IHNGC) mission is to provide homeless families emergency shelter and hospitality through interfaith communities and to work with families to find and retain stable housing.

Which social causes (up to 3 choices) does your agency address through its programming? *

  • (1) Animals
  • (3) Children
  • (11) Poverty

Any comments about your selections you would like to share with the student philanthropists?

IHNGC is a unique, innovative program for families and pets experiencing homelessness. In a time when fathers would have to separate from women and children to enter a shelter, we accept families as they identify themselves and have a long tradition of focusing on keeping families together. We welcome moms, dads, grandparents, kids and even pets. Our holistic approach of caring for families experiencing homelessness include our Child Enrichment and Pet Support Programs. The Child Enrichment program addresses the physical, educational, developmental, social and emotional needs of our youngest guests. The IHNGC Pet Support Program is the only program in the Cincinnati region that provides temporary shelter for the pets of homeless households until their owners find and retain stable, pet-friendly housing.
