|What is the mission of your organization?||Grant Us Hope is a Cincinnati-based non-profit that focuses on supporting mental health and preventing suicides in schools. Hope Squad, our signature program, is a peer-to-peer, evidence-based initiative that sparks conversation and identifies young people who are struggling and possibly considering suicide.
Hope Squad has grown from three schools in March 2018 to 90 schools by January 2020.
We expect that growth to continue and to spread to schools across the State of Ohio and Northern Kentucky.
|Which social causes (up to 3 choices) does your agency address through its programming? *||
|Any comments about your selections you would like to share with the student philanthropists?||Hope Squad helps schools teach students that it is okay to talk about mental health issues and suicide. In fact, that is the only way our communities can make progress on helping those in need.|
|Does your organization have volunteer opportunities available for students? *||Yes, Grades 6 – 12|
|List possible volunteer opportunities -or- a link to where they can be found on the web.||Grant Us Hope is always looking for people who are willing to volunteer. Whether it is at our annual fundraiser, the Butterfly Bash, or a Hope Squad Conference, volunteers are critical to our mission of saving lives.|
