Hi, students!

Breakthrough Cincinnati believes in the power of young people. Everyone that gets involved with Breakthrough definitely gets something out of it – students, teaching fellows, families, community members, volunteers, etc.

For over 25 years, Breakthrough Cincinnati has helped thousands of Cincinnati students and teachers with college readiness, career readiness, leadership development, community engagement, etc. Rising sixth through ninth graders from over 50 schools in Hamilton County attend a six-week summer learning program where “it’s cool to be smart.” The program is taught by college students who are aspiring to be teachers. There is a special bond between the teachers and students that creates a fun learning environment – an experience with memories that last a lifetime!

Check out our Instagram and Facebook for more information about Breakthrough. When the six-week summer learning program isn’t in session, we’re still doing a lot of planning and prepping for the next summer… along with school-year programming! We’re active on social media and are always willing to answer any questions you have.

We look forward to hearing from you!
